Energy Truffles with Cocoa and Peanuts

These energetic truffles are ideal to carry in your backpack for a snack before or after training.

Go out into the wild for a run or an outdoor workout, without worrying about what you're going to eat afterwards. These energetic cocoa and peanut truffles are ideal to take with you. They're also a great asset when you spend a lot of time in front of a computer, for a snack between meetings, or simply to eat something healthy after your workout.

Maca offers its potential as an energy source. Cocoa, in addition to its nutritional power and taste, acts as a mild stimulant and also facilitates weight loss. Add to this our Super Vegan Protein Peanut and Maca and you have a great blend.

Before you start, don't forget these mobility exercises and make sure you have all the necessary ingredients on hand to create your energy boost. You can make these truffles at your convenience and then freeze them. Beware, if you're not going to run alone, take more truffles and share. That's how you make friends!

For: 20 truffes


Ingredients:

½ cup of SUPER VEGAN PROTEIN Peanut and Maca

12 pitted dates

¾ cup of peeled and roasted peanuts

2 tbsp. fair trade cocoa powder

1 tablespoon maca powder

2 tbsp. fair trade cocoa nibs

¼ cup chopped roasted peanuts


Recipe:

1. Place all ingredients, except raw cocoa nuggets and chopped peanuts, in a blender and blend until a sand-like mixture is obtained which, when pressed with fingers, can be molded without crumbling.

2. Place this mixture in another container, add the cocoa nibs and chopped peanuts and mix with hands.

3. After mixing well, take a small portion of paste (about 1 tablespoon) and create a ball with your hands.
