It provides the mixture with a relevant content of protein, complex carbohydrates and fiber. Generally, in combination with oatmeal and brown rice, this pseudocereal contributes to the sensation of satiety conferred and offers structure to pancakes and waffles.
The peanut (Arachis hypogaea) is an oleaginous fruit of the same family of chestnuts, nuts and hazelnuts, being rich in "healthy fats" (mono and polyunsaturated) as is the omega-3 that help decrease inflammation in the body and protect the cardiovascular system. In peanut composition we can find more than 20 amino acids (100g of peanuts provide approx. 28-30g of proteins), polyphenols, various antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Among the vitamins are Vitamin E (powerful anti-oxidant), folates and vitamins of the B complex, in particular Niacin (Vit. B3) and vitamin B6. Contains magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper and manganese.
Flax seeds
Gives the peanut flavor and a creamy texture and strengthens the protein content of the mixture. This flour is the result of grinding roasted peanuts and partial fat extraction. This simple process is nutritionally relevant by decreasing the energy value (kcal) of this dried fruit, maintaining the flavor, fiber and increasing the amount of protein in the final product.
Sunflower seed
An alternative to the dreaded white sugar, it comes from the nectar of the coconut flower and is cooked until crystallized, giving rise to a sugar of extraordinary flavor and quality. Because it does not undergo a single refining process, it retains its properties, with a high level of mineralisation, namely calcium and potassium.
